Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh: A unidentified man had asked the casualty for his cell phone to settle on a dire decision, however he taking off with it when the train dialed back prior to arriving at a station, police said.
Shahdol: A 54-year-old teacher was killed in the wake of being run over by a train while he was pursuing a man who removed his cell phone in Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol area, police said on Tuesday.
The occurrence occurred at Shahdol rail route station late Sunday night.
The dead individual, Manoj Nema, functioned as an educator in a non-public school.
He was venturing out to Sagar in the Durg-Ajmer train on Sunday night when a unidentified man requested his cell phone for settling on a critical decision to somebody, Government Railway Police’s associate sub-auditor Jethu Singh said.
In any case, when the train dialed back prior to halting at Shahdol station, the blamed began taking off with Nema’s telephone, he said.
Nema then began following him, however slipped on tracks. He got hit by the train and kicked the bucket, the authority said.
The police later captured a suspect, recognized as Rajendra Singh, inhabitant of Kheri town in Shahdol, and recuperated a versatile handset from him, the authority said, adding that further test into the case is on.
